On the day when their child was baptized, Christ, Prince of Peace parents were reminded that they were the first teachers of their children in the ways of faith. Working in close partnership with our parents, the faculty and staff of our school provide a Catholic faith community in which those children can continue to grow in body, mind and spirit.

The administration strives to foster open lines of communication with our school parents. Our school website provides a wealth of information and a monthly newsletter is posted with event handouts on the secured parent portion of the website. Parents can also view the homeroom pages for their child’s teachers for additional information about classroom activities or homework. In addition, each teacher can be contacted through their email address which can also be found on our school website. Middle school students' grades, attendance, and school work progress can be viewed through our secured PowerSchool parent portal.

Christ, Prince of Peace School has a very active parent community that supports the school financially, socially and spiritually. Many functions for children and parents are planned throughout the year. Among the activities are: Ice Cream Social, Trunk or Treat, Catholic Schools Week, and School Masses.

The Parent Teacher Organization coordinates most of the volunteer opportunities. Parents may sign up on the first day of school at the Get It Done Day event to volunteer. The School Board, Marketing Committee, and cbay Auction are also staffed by parents.

In addition, parents are required to work Cafeteria Duty. A schedule of the assigned dates can be found on our school website. Parents are welcome to change their times with other workers or hire a substitute from the list. A $75 fee is charged for any parent who misses their lunch shift and a $150 buy-out option is offered at the beginning of the year. We appreciate everyone’s help in keeping our cafeteria running smoothly.
